Courtesy Call on Mr. Dinesh Weerakkody, Chairman, Board of Investment (BOI) of Sri Lanka

The President and Representatives of the Committee of the Sri Lanka – Japan Business Council paid a Courtesy Call on Mr. Dinesh Weerakkody, Chairman, Board of Investment of Sri Lanka on 07th June 2023. Mr. Hideaki Tanaka, Chairman, Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI)
And Mr. Hiroki Oi, Resident Representative, JETRO Colombo, also joined the visit.

The Committee was presented with an update on Port City and new products of the BOI, while current challenges and the way ahead in encouraging Japanese investments into Sri Lanka were also discussed.
