Eligibility

The categories of members shall be-

Ordinary members:

Entities registered under the laws of Sri Lanka to engage in business activities, and who are either engaged in or interested in engaging in trade, investment or tourism related activities, with persons or entities in the partner country shall be eligible to be admitted as Ordinary Members of the Business Council.

Associate members:

Entities registered in the partner country and engaged in or interested in engaging in trade, investment or tourism related activities in Sri Lanka but not registered under the laws of Sri Lanka, shall be eligible to be admitted as Associate members of the Business Council.

Process of Application

Please complete the membership application form and forward same along with the following to reach us soon as possible to enroll your Organization as a member of the Sri Lanka –Japan Business Council.

A Brief Company Profile
Payment of Rs.50,000/- ( Annual Membership Subscription Rs.10,000/- for 5 years at current rate) to be made via Bank Transfer or a Cheque to be drawn in favor of “Ceylon Chamber of Commerce”. (Transaction details or the slip to be emailed to julianne@chamber.lk upon payment)

Two years certified audited accounts
2 membership recommendations (Please note that both the Proposer and Seconder should be members of the Sri Lanka – Japan Business Council, and the details of the membership can be found at <link to the list of members>.
